Didier Legros is an independent consultant with a long and extensive operational background in the petroleum industry and in the energy industry. His consultancy offer focuses mainly on: - the liberalising gas and power markets across Europe, where he offers advice to integrated energy companies, traders, suppliers and regional distributors, large energy buyers, and European or national regulatory agencies, for implementation of change and opportunities/risks management - the strategic management of oil and gas companies, including value enhancement of productions, change management, business development, due diligence. He also consults as Senior Associate with the London-based Gas Strategies Group Limited, and as a Partner with Versailles-based Arclès – Conseil de Direction. Didier Legros previously held a number of technical, operational, and executive positions during his career with the Elf Aquitaine Group, now merged into the oil giant Total. His experience ranges from oil and gas field evaluation, development and production, to crude oil trading, and to natural gas trading and retailing. In particular he has been CEO of Elf Gas & Power Ltd in the UK, a position which got him actively involved in all aspects of market liberalisation and competition development in the UK's energy markets.
